New West Minor Softball is proud to host the third annual U11 Chris Chong Memorial Tournament at Moody Park, New Westminster, May 1 - 3, 2026

Special thanks to the City of New Westminster for their ongoing support of our Association, and to the Qayqayt First Nation, as well as all Coast Salish peoples,  on whose unceded territory we live, work and play.

Chris Chong was a longstanding member of the softball community as well as a former New West Minor Softball president and coach, but he was so much more than that to so many people. Chris Chong (or Coach Chong to many of us) provided countless minor athletes with the guidance and support that would keep them loving sports for years to come. His love of coaching truly showed when he was working with athletes and his ability to show players their own potential was second to none.
