Chris Chong Memorial Homerun Derby Rules

May 5-7, 2023 - Moody Park

New Westminster

 

The homerun derby will take place at Moody 1, immediately after the opening ceremonies on Saturday, May 6

 

Sign up will be at the registration table near the Moody 1 breezeway (behind home plate). Late sign ups are OKAY as long as the competition hasn’t started. 

 

Rules:

 

• All players will be hitting off of a tee 

  • **We may set up two (2) tees depending on the number of players that sign up

 

• Each player will get five hits - their longest hit will count

**Foul balls will not count towards the longest hit

 

• Longest hit will be determined by where the ball hits the ground, NOT by final placement after the ball is finished rolling.

 

• Top two players from the first round will go to a final round.

 

• The final round will determine the overall winner of the homerun derby
